This is a fun and friendly swing dance taster class at Jamboree, taking place before The Cable Street Rag Band play their weekly Thursday set… https://facebook.com/events/s/limehouse-de-reverie-with-the-/558110620001233/ Every week will be a little bit different. This is a drop in open level class and no prior experience is required. I will be teaching layers of complexity for the more experienced dancers that come. It is an inclusive class, and everyone is welcome! No pre-booking is required – just turn up, put £5 in the hat, and have a go! With 16+ years on the swing scene, dancing, teaching, performing and competing, and a lifetime love of dance, I will be sharing a unique blend of both my lived and professional dance experience. You may see the odd guest teacher too! The class will be a combination of partnered and solo, with a distinct flavour of swing sprinkled with a little dancehall, hip-hop, and a hell of a lot of groove. Then, if you fancy, you can have a boogie and bust out them new moves when the band play! Lovely food and drinks available too! Boom night sorted!
